In m'n vorige Volvo D5 had ik het "Premium Sound System" met een HU 850 radio-/cd speler met een PA 300 versterker, met een gewéldig mooi geluid! In m'n huidige Volvo V70 D5 zit (denk ik) het "High Performance Sound System" met een HU 650 radio-/cd speler zonder aparte versterker. Er is tenminste niets te zien onder de bijrijders stoel. High-Performance is inderdaad beter, maar ook sterieler, minder klankkleuren dus. Premium is veruit de mooiste combinatie, maar dan moet je wel all the way gaan! Het bereik is duidelijk groter, met name aan de onderkant (goed te horen bij basloopjes), waardoor de toon ook voller en met name volwassener is.
